The £1 silver-coloured band includes an imitation diamond jewel and comes in red, heart-shaped velvet box.
On its website page at Asda it says: “Share some love with this ring with matching heart box.”
Currently, it is available on the Asda website for £1, and you should be able to find it in-store if you wish to buy it.
The product was also available last year and brought about quite a bit of amusement from shoppers.

Laura Baker was one of those people and joked in a Facebook post: “For anyone who is wanting to propose this Valentine’s Day, they do a really cute £1 ring in Asda.
“I wasn’t expecting anything to be in the box to be honest. Thought it was just a ring box.”

Rachel Campbell was another person who found the concept quite funny.
She posted on her Twitter account in January last year: “Asda really out here selling an engagement ring and box for a £1. i stg you couldn’t make it up.”
Catherine Fryer, Events Buyer at Asda says: “As the saying goes, it’s impossible to put a price on love but with the average cost of an engagement ring in the thousands, we wanted to offer our customers a more affordable version for 2022.”
